We work from a stunning home from home environment that we use for workshops, meetings and face to face research.
Durley Hill House is an impressive and substantial Grade II Listed Georgian house located within the town of Keynsham, just 2 miles outside of Bristol and 3 miles from Bath. The property is surrounded by beautiful grounds and a private gated driveway that can accommodate up to 15 cars.
The main house features two large rooms that we use for the majority of our sessions:
The elegant Drawing Room has a Georgian style fireplace with dual aspect windows offering views of the lovely gardens
The characterful living room is equally generous in size, providing ample space for a large meeting table and chairs
We also have a substantial kitchen and can provide catering for any sessions, and, if time permits, visitors can also make the most of the southerly facing garden and wonderful views.

Purposeful Insight is deeply rooted in many communities across Bristol. We can offer access to some of the hardest to reach groups, including those hit by some of society’s biggest challenges: poverty, mental and physical health, unemployment, homelessness and lifestyle-related illness. If you need to engage with these groups as part of your research, we can help access them sensitively and appropriately.
Getting here
We are easy to get to. If you’re coming by car, you can access us from the M4 or M5.
If you're travelling by train, our closest station is Keynsham, which is just a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk away, or Bristol Temple Meads, which is about 15 minutes away by taxi.
Accommodation
you are spoilt for choice in Bristol and Bath for wonderful places to stay and eat. If you would prefer to stay in Keynsham then the Old Manor house is within a 5 minute walk from Durley Hill House.
